Rentals

University Community Church is located on a highly visible street corner on a bus route, adjacent to the University of Windsor campus. The building is on a small lot with parking for 14 cars and meters on the street.

UCC is a fully affirming church that supports all marginalized peoples including the LGBTQIA2S+ communities. Any preaching or activities that go against this policy will not be tolerated.

The Hall

Located on the upper level is a large (2,400 sq.ft. plus stage (500 sq. ft.)), multi-functional and flexible space with chairs, couches, tables and a kitchenette at the entrance. (20 tables, 100 chairs & 4 couches available).  It can accommodate up to 150 people or up to 100 with tables.  There are big screen TVs, camera, sound system and Wi-Fi to allow for various media. Piano, drums & microphones on the stage.

Rental Fee

  • Base:  $350/day (12hrs) or $200/half day (6 hrs) and use of kitchenette
  • Wedding:  $500 (includes day of the wedding and rehearsal time the afternoon or evening prior to the wedding day)

Lower Event Space

Located a half-level down, this cool and cozy multi-functional 1,800 sq. ft. space has 2 performance stages, bar/food counter, and can seat up to 70 people with tables and chairs.

Rental Fee

$350/day (12 hrs) or $200/half day (6 hrs)

Use of attached commercial kitchen is an additional $240 (12 hrs) or $120 (6 hrs)

Commercial Kitchen & Storage Room

185 sq. ft. kitchen with gas stoves & cooktop, 3-compartment sink, sanitizing dishwasher, work tables & shelves, and various pots, pans & utensils.

260 sq. ft. storage with stand-up fridge,  work tables & shelves, and large storage cupboards.

Rental Fee

$240/day (12 hrs) or $120/half day (6 hrs)

Commercial kitchen rate is $20/hr. Minimum of 3 hours required.

Meeting Room 1 (Exploration Room)

Located on the upper level this bright and airy multi-functional 400 sq. ft. space complete with kitchenette is limited in use only by your imagination.

Rental Fee

$50/up to 3 hours and use of attached kitchenette

Located on the lower level this cozy 345 sq. ft. room is equipped with couches making it ideal for meetings with a casual atmosphere or a quiet meditative/counselling space.

Rental Fee

$50/up to 3 hours and use of kitchenette on the upper level

Additions

Furniture setup and teardown:  An additional charge of $50 is incurred if the renter requires UCC to set up the larger spaces in a particular manner other than our typical setup.  The renter may also choose to take responsibility for their own setup.
It will be the renter's responsibility to provide proof of renters insurance and for cleanup after the event.
A/V Equipment Usage:  Setup and use of a/v equipment requires that our staff be present for the event and the renter will be charged at a rate of $25/hour from time of setup to closing.  Minimum of 2 hours required.
