Located beside the University of Windsor, University Community Church offers welcoming and flexible spaces for meetings, workshops, lectures, performances, celebrations, study groups, and community events.

Whether you're planning a one-time event or looking for a regular place to meet, we'd love to explore how our space can support your group, organization, or event. 

Student groups, charities, non-profits, and community organizations are encouraged to inquire about discounted rates.

UCC is a fully affirming church that supports all marginalized peoples, including the LGBTQIA2S+ communities. Any activities that go against our policies will not be tolerated.

Hall & Stage

Wedding Package Includes

  • Use of the Hall & Stage for the ceremony and/or reception
  • Up to 2 hours of rehearsal time during the week before the wedding
  • Exclusive use of the Serenity Room as a private dressing and preparation space on the wedding day
  • Tables and chairs
  • One planning consultation regarding room setup and event logistics

Audio-visual support, livestreaming, musicians, decorations, catering, and additional cleaning are not included. Available upon request.

A large, flexible upper-level event space ideal for workshops, lectures, performances, receptions, student events, weddings, celebrations of life, and community gatherings.

A bright and flexible meeting space ideal for workshops, board meetings, classes, training sessions, tutoring, and community gatherings.

A quiet and comfortable space for counselling, coaching, tutoring, support groups, study groups, spiritual direction, and small meetings.

Additions

Furniture setup and teardown:  An additional charge of $50 is incurred if the renter requires UCC to set up the larger spaces in a particular manner other than our typical setup.  The renter may also choose to take responsibility for their own setup and restore the room themselves.
It will be the renter's responsibility to provide proof of renters insurance and for cleanup after the event.
A/V Equipment Usage:  Setup and use of a/v equipment requires that our staff be present for the event and the renter will be charged at a rate of $25/hour from time of setup to closing.  Minimum of 2 hours required.

Before You Book

  • Rental requests should be made 14 days in advance.
  • Weddings should be requested at least 90 days in advance.
  • Funerals and visitations may be accommodated on shorter notice depending on availability.
  • Event liability insurance is required in most cases.
  • A signed rental agreement is required before bookings are confirmed.
  • University Community Church is an alcohol-free facility.
  • Additional requirements may apply depending on the nature of the event.
  • Use of audio-visual or musical equipment must be arranged in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is audio-visual equipment available?

Yes. Audio-visual support is available for Hall rentals and must be arranged in advance.

Do you offer discounted rates?

Discounted rates may be available for student groups, charities, non-profits, community organizations, and recurring bookings.

Is alcohol permitted?

University Community Church is an alcohol-free facility.

Is parking available?

Limited on-site parking may be available depending on the date and time of your event. Please inquire for details.

Can I use the piano or drum kit?

Use of the piano, drums, or other musical equipment must be approved in advance and may require UCC staff support.
